Come meet Laura Jenks, author of “I’m Too Young for This,” at our local author signing event.
Her book shares a moving story of widowhood, motherhood, and “other things I’m still trying to figure out.” Through honest and personal reflections, Laura writes about keeping alive the memories of her husband – the man who kept her sane and made her laugh – while navigating life as a solo parent.
In these stories, Laura explores how she found her own story in between that of her husband and her daughters, pieced together a new life, and learned to keep going as she raised her children on her own.
